Julie Voss Named Executive Director of Susan G. Komen® Houston
Voss brings more than 25 years of fund development and leadership experience to Komen Houston from her time at major nonprofits and foundations. She has served as Interim CEO of the Memorial Hermann Foundation and was most recently the Regional Development Officer for the national office of the Boys & Girls Club of America. She has also served in leadership positions at the University of Texas Medical Branch, the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.

Her background as a successful fundraiser coupled with her wealth of nonprofit experience, makes her uniquely qualified to grow and expand our work to as we move forward to achieve our Bold Goal to reduce U.S. breast cancer deaths by half by 2026,” said Komen Houston Board President Betsy Kamin.
As Executive Director, Voss will be responsible for the operations of Komen Houston while implementing its strategic goals for best serving women in the greater Houston area by providing financial assistance to those in breast cancer treatment and through community health and education programs.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in Non-profit Management from the University of Houston Downtown. She has been credentialed as a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) since 2009. Julie served on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals-Greater Houston Chapter and is a founding member and past-president of National Charity League, Inc. Space City Chapter.
