How Can We Help?
Our hearts are heavy seeing the thousands of Texans affected by Harvey over the last few days. We love our great city and its wonderful people, and we know that the strength, resilience, and love all Houstonians share will help us heal and rebuild. We are particularly proud of friends from near and far who went above the call of duty to support their neighbors in need. Our heartfelt thanks to each of you – our journey together is for the long term.
But today, relief is needed in many forms. We have compiled a list of websites and phone numbers with information for our breast health community, and those affected.
For immediate counseling support, call the National Disaster Distress Helpline at 1-800-985-5990 or text “TalkWithUs” to 66746.
For local referrals to treatment facilities, access to care for low-income and uninsured patients, support, survivorship and financial assistance (including transportation, housing & finances) visit http://www.texascancer.info.
Please let us know if you have any questions or if we can be of help in any way. You may reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to assist or direct. We will be in touch in the coming days with updates and additional resources from our funded partners.
And please continue to put your health and safety first as we work through this devastating time in our city.
We are, and will be, Houston Strong,
